DiDi Rider: Affordable rides started strong with over 1M downloads in the final week of December 2021. However, downloads saw a steady decline, dropping to around 147K by the last week of March 2022. Despite the drop in downloads, active users showed resilience, growing from approximately 287K to 329K over the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides maintained a stable download rate, peaking at nearly 170K in mid-February. Active users also showed positive trends, increasing from about 880K at the end of December to over 911K by the end of March.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a consistent increase in downloads, starting at around 130K and rising to nearly 158K by the end of March. Active users exhibited a similar pattern, climbing from approximately 1.97M to 2.25M over the same period.

Uber - Request a ride saw a moderate increase in downloads, beginning at approximately 75K and reaching about 76K by the end of March. The app maintained a robust active user base, with numbers fluctuating around 2M throughout the quarter and peaking at 2.32M in the last week of March.

Swvl - Daily Bus Rides showcased a notable increase in downloads, starting at around 33K and peaking at nearly 85K in mid-March. Active users for Swvl also saw growth, beginning at approximately 107K and reaching around 156K by the end of the quarter.
